How we handle your information
Please read this policy before submitting personal information or documents.
Purpose and scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Uni Global collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when students, applicants, authorised representatives, or other users visit the website, submit an enquiry, attend counselling, upload documents, subscribe to updates, or use our education-consultancy services. It applies to online and branch-based interactions.
Information we may collect
We may collect identity and contact details, academic history, qualifications, backlogs, study gaps, work experience, test scores, preferred destinations and courses, budget information, passport and immigration details, application documents, financial-support documents, communications, branch preferences, uploaded files, and technical information generated when the website is used.
How information is collected
Information may be collected through website forms, newsletter subscriptions, WhatsApp enquiries, email, phone calls, branch visits, counselling sessions, events, uploaded documents, application activities, and information you authorise a representative to provide.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess initial eligibility, prepare relevant comparisons, manage leads, coordinate counselling, support applications, identify scholarships, assist with documents, support visa preparation, send requested updates, maintain records, improve services, prevent misuse, and meet legal or contractual obligations.
Instructions for sensitive documents
Upload only documents requested for an evaluation or agreed service. Before sending documents, confirm that they are accurate and belong to the correct applicant. Do not send passwords, OTPs, bank-card PINs, unrelated medical records, or unnecessary identity documents. Contact the selected branch if you are unsure whether a document is required.
Before uploading: Remove unnecessary information, use clear files, and confirm the intended branch or application purpose.
Storage, access, and security
Access is limited according to staff roles and service responsibilities. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to reduce unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their own accounts, devices, email, and messaging access.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only as reasonably needed for counselling, applications, service delivery, record keeping, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes. Retention periods may vary according to the service, document type, and applicable obligations.
Your choices and requests
You may request reasonable access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You may also withdraw from promotional messages or newsletter updates. Some records may need to be retained when required for legal, contractual, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Third-party websites and international processing
University, payment, social-media, WhatsApp, map, and other external websites operate under their own privacy practices. Information required for an international application may be processed in another country. Review relevant third-party policies before submitting information directly to them.
Privacy questions and complaints
Send privacy questions or requests to info@theuniglobal.org. Clearly describe your request and the information concerned. We may request identity verification before processing a request to protect student information from unauthorised access.
